WE ARE ONE OF SIX MAGAZINES WITHIN THE WISCONSIN UNION DIRECTORATE PUBLICATION’S COMMITTEE. WE ENABLE STUDENTS TO DISCOVER, COMPILE AND PROMOTE A WIDE SELECTION OF MUSIC IN BI-ANNUAL PUBLICATIONS, ONLINE, AND IN THE FIELD AT FESTIVALS, LIVE SHOWS, AND MORE.” — EMMIE MUSIC

From 2020-2022, I had the privilege of being a contributing writer and photographer for EMMIE Magazine. I was the editor of photography for the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 issues of EMMIE. During my time at EMMIE, I photographed multiple live shows and photos for features as well as interviewed several artists ranging from local artists like Derek Ramnarace of Old Soul Society to internationally touring artists like Neal Francis. I also was introduced to layout design during my time at EMMIE and designed my own layouts as well as the print photo galleries.
